David Webb, Texas Beta '81


David was born and raised on the plains of West Texas, primarily in Lubbock.  Graduated from Texas Tech in 1982 with  BBA with emphasis in Marketing. 

He started his business career in San Antonio with Pepsico at the local bottling operation. 

Later he went to work for BF Goodrich in their construction division in 1985 as a sales engineer specializing in commercial roofing projects calling on end users and design professionals, and now has worked on the contractor side of the roofing business since 1993. 

It's not exactly what he would have guessed his future to be in the summer of 1982.  But he has been and continues to be blessed with a very good living based upon a simple business!

He is married to Kim, and they have two teenage daughters.  Kim is a professional managing five large real commercial real estate portfolios.  Katie is a sophomore at Texas Tech in the Business School, and Hailey will be completing her senior year in high school in the spring of 2011.  Hailey plans to attend Texas State at this time and would be enrolling in the Fall of 2011.
